Elkhorn Area Middle School 6th Graders, as part of their PLTW Green Architecture Science class, have worked with Wausau Homes Elkhorn since 2018 to provide a hands-on building project that brings what they're learning in the classroom to life. The Picnic Table Project in 2024 was such a success that they are now offering these picnic tables to the public for purchase. This past weekend Three of our students, Collin R, Grace R, and Autumn R competed against other Walworth County Schools in the Culinary Showdown. What is the Culinary Showdown? Your culinary students (3) will be paired with and mentored by a local professional chef (Chef Niko- Lake Lawn Lodge) to compete against other Walworth County pro/am (chef/student) teams. They did amazing with their "Walking Weiner" and "One Herd Slider" (made from Elk Meat). #goelks
