Course Description:    
This focus of this course is to provide students with the opportunity to actively participate in a variety of non-competitive activities that will help them develop lifetime fitness skills enabling them to live a healthier lifestyle. Units are exploratory in nature serving as an introduction towards each of the lifetime skills participated in. 

Individual personal fitness goals will be set, and measurements taken a 3-6 week intervals. Each student will select a fitness tracker app and use it to track their weekly activities to assist in reaching their personal goals.

Students will graph their weekly measurements at six week intervals to compare their activity and results.

Students will research a fitness topic of their choosing and turn in a one page typed summary.  They will give a verbal presentation to the class on their topic of choice.
Special Notes: Personal Fitness is a 1/2 credit course.  This course can be taken as a requirement or an elective.
