Course Description:
Pre-Calculus is a course attempting to bridge the gap between Intermediate Algebra and Calculus. The content of the course consists of three main topics: 1) mathematical analysis with emphasis on functions, 2) Trigonometry review and College Algebra, and 3) analytic Geometry and an introduction to Calculus. This course is recommended for college bound students.
Special Notes: Students are placed in the most appropriate course level based on various district measurements of academic progress.
TI-83/84 or Casio 9750 required.
