Pre-requisite:  Animal Production & Processing, Companion Animal Management, or Equine Management. 

Course Description:
This semester class is designed for the students who have a love for animals and/or interested in becoming a veterinarian or veterinarian technician. Students gain an understanding of animal anatomy, animal physiology, proper animal restraint, injection techniques, eye care, and disease diagnosis. Problem solving and decision making skills are the learning focus along with hands on activities and labs.  This class enhances current science knowledge and applies it to situations found in the world of veterinary science.
We address personal career skill enhancement and develop/continue Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) projects.
Special Notes: This class is worth .5 credit of an elective science credit.
